In the New Testament, “KAIROS” means “the appointed time in the purpose of God,” the time when God acts. പുതിയ നിയമത്തിൽ, കെയ്റോസ് എന്നാൽ “ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തിൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സമയം,” ദൈവം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സമയം എന്നാണ് അർത്ഥമാക്കുന്നത്.
